There are many different aspects to being a good diver. We provide a range of courses to help certified divers become more skilled, confident, and safe in different environments and situations.

Scuba Review Price $150
Have you been out of the water for a few years, and want to work on your dive skills? The Scuba Review program is just the refresher you need to brush up on your knowledge and skills. A PADI Professional will get you in the water having fun and feeling comfortable again in no time. Following a detailed, informative briefing from your PADI Instructor covering dive theory, equipment use and dive techniques, we head out to the ocean to dive, practice some skills, and work on buoyancy. It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for your diving vacation.

Best booked as an add-on to your Fun Dives or other specialty training.

Advanced Open Water Price $490
Exploration, Excitement, Experiences: That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is all about! You don’t have to be an experienced diver to participate in this course. It is designed to improve your diving, so you can start right after earning the Open Water Diver certification if you desire.

This course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through five different Adventure Dives including Underwater Navigation and Deep Diver. You will develop new diving skills while gaining experience under the supervision and instruction of a PADI dive instructor. You will undertake three more Adventure dives, chosen from the available options. Adventure Dives include Peak Performance Buoyancy (highly recommended), Night Diving, Boat Diving, Drift Diving, Search and Recovery, Fish ID, Underwater Naturalist, and Underwater Photography! Together with your instructor, you will choose the options that suit you the best.

In addition, each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course - another certification level in our PADI scale to improve your development underwater! Feel free to chat with the Dive Cabarete crew for more information on this certification.

At the end of your PADI Advanced Open Water Course, you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30m/100ft. Level up for FUN!

Emergency First Response Price $170
A prerequisite for the Rescue Diver and Professional Level courses, the Emergency First Response course is recognized internationally as an excellent First Aid qualification. The half-day course will teach you cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. Course participants learn simple-to-follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment.

Rescue Diver Price $564
The Rescue Diver course is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding dive courses you will ever take on a recreational level. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious and it’s challenging, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.

For this course, you will need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months by agencies approved by PADI. If you are not certain if your certification will cover the requirements, send us a picture of the card and we'll check it for you. In case you don't have this training, you can complete it right before the Rescue Diver course.

Divemaster Price on request
Turn what you love into your profession! Do you love scuba diving? Do you want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love as a career. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.

The PADI Divemaster program is the first professional level in PADI. At Dive Cabarete we know what it takes to be an excellent Divemaster so we set high standards for our Divemaster Trainees. Working closely with our experienced PADI Instructors, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills and refine your rescue skills. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management, and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere. You will be part of a team providing a wonderful experience to our divers. Our instructors will give you feedback after every activity and by the time you have completed the program, you will be well equipped to work at any dive center in the world!

Specialties Price on request
Take your diving to the next level by taking one or more specialty courses. These courses teach you new techniques to deal with specific environments and give you the tools to enhance your underwater exploration.
